What is your Trial Policy?

AIZEN TRIAL POLICY
1,Trial Period
All mouthpieces must be prepaid before shipping. Mouthpieces are available for a trial period of 14 days from the date of receipt, with a maximum limit of three mouthpieces per order.
2,Returns, Refunds and Cancellation
If you decide to return our products, you need to fill in and submit our return form on our website.
Here is the link to AIZEN return form.

3,Return Condition and Restocking Fee
All returned products must be in original condition without scratches, nicks, ligature or teeth marks.
Upon completion of inspection, your refund (minus shipping charges) will be processed within 14 days.If no purchase is made,returned products are subject to 5% of restocking fee.
You are responsible for all return charges,including the shipping costs back to us. Import taxes are due to your responsibility, and are not refundable by us.
All original packaging and invoice must be included with each item returned.
Any damaged products will be considered as purchased and shipped back to you.

Can we buy your mouthpieces in local stores?

Please contact our dealer inquiry form here.
Please buy from your local stores to support their business.If they don’t carry AIZEN. please ask them to carry our products.
We don’t have chances to know new dealers because of our selling capacity is limited.A lot of our dealers approached us after customer requests.
You are also welcome to buy directly from us when local stores does not carry AIZEN.

What information should I give you when I want recommendation from you?

We need to know what mouthpiece and tip opening you plays and how you want to change the sound and feel of blowing.

What reed do you recommend for your mouthpieces?
A
We test the mouthpiece with Woodstone 2 1/2 reed before shipment.I usually recommend Vandoren ZZ or Vandoren Java 2 1/2 as Woodstone is relatively hard to find.
Having said that, I have seen so many good results with so many other reeds and strength, so I recommend you to try various kinds of reeds to find the best set-up.

What does tip opening means?
A
Tip opening means the distance between the reed and the tip of the mouthpiece. In general, the bigger the tip opening, the more the reed vibrates and the more resistance increases. All manufacturers use different opening numbering systems. Please see our tip opening comparison chart to find your best tip opening.

In general:For Alto, the most popular opening for jazz and pop music is 6 and 7. Beginners should play 5.
For Tenor, the most popular facing for pros on Tenor is a 7 or 7*. Beginners should play 6 or 6*.
