\r\nBiography<\/strong>

\r\nRicardo Branco, was born on February 17, 1986\r\nin Portugal. Began in 1999 to study saxophone in\r\nthe Philarmonic Band Volunteer Fire Department of\r\nTorres Vedras (PBVFTV).

\r\n\r\nHe joined that year at the\r\nMusic Conservatory “Luis Antonio Maldonado\r\nRodrigues”, where he attended classes for five\r\nyears, with the teacher Victor Carvalho. It was in\r\nhis last year of course for the National\r\nConservatory of Lisbon.

\r\n\r\nIn 2004 he began studying Jazz in the Jazz\r\nSchool of Torres Vedras with Jose Menezes.

\r\n\r\nIn 2006 he joined the Portuguese Air Force Band\r\nwhere he was until 2013 as saxophonist. For the\r\nservice, brought a Public Praise for several values,\r\nincluding the “high artistic quality ” and a copper\r\nmedal of exemplary behavior.\r\n

\r\nIn the academic year 2009\/2010, concluded by the 3rd and final year of Jazz at\r\nthe Music Academy in Lisbon.\r\n

\r\nIn the academic year 2010\/2011 began his studies the Higher School of Music in\r\nLisbon Jazz Saxophone strand.\r\n

\r\nHe teaches saxophone at the International School of Torres Vedras, PBVFTV\r\nAcademy and the particular level.\r\n

\r\nPerformed shows with various bands and solo sets, both national and international\r\nlevel, within various genres.\r\nHis ambition leads him to study daily and to invest the most in their training.\r\n
